Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last Updated: June 25, 2026

1. General Cancellation Policy

At Booking Ranthambore Safari, all safari permits are issued in accordance with the official rules of the Ranthambore Forest Department. Once a safari permit is booked, any cancellations and refunds are strictly governed by the official guidelines and timeframes set by the government authorities.

2. 100% Refund on Unconfirmed Safaris

In the rare event that we are unable to secure a confirmed safari permit for your requested date and vehicle type due to unavailability, we guarantee a complete, 100% refund of your advance payment without any deductions.

3. Official Cancellation Charges & Refund Slabs

If you wish to cancel a confirmed safari booking, the refund will be processed based on the official Ranthambore Forest Department cancellation policy. The refund percentages apply to the booking amount as follows:

  • 75% Refund: For cancellations made 30 or more days before the scheduled visit date.
  • 50% Refund: For cancellations made between 72 hours to 30 days of the scheduled visit date.
  • 0% Refund (No Refund): For cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled visit date.

4. No-Show & Authoritative Cancellation

  • No-Show: Failure to arrive at the designated boarding point at the scheduled safari time is considered a “No-Show,” and 0% refund will be provided.
  • Cancellation by Authorities: If the Ranthambore Forest Department suspends safari operations, alters routes, or changes zones without prior notice (due to extreme weather, VIP movements, or administrative reasons), refunds or rescheduling will be processed strictly according to the government directives issued at that time.

5. Tatkal & Premium Tatkal Bookings

Please note that all safari permits booked under the Tatkal or Premium Tatkal quotas are strictly 100% non-refundable. The official refund slabs (75% or 50%) do not apply to these emergency quotas, and no cancellations will be entertained.

6. Partial Cancellation Rules

Partial cancellation refers to removing one or more specific passengers from a confirmed ticket, rather than cancelling the entire booking. If you wish to make a partial cancellation, please note that no refund will be provided for those specific cancelled passengers. Once a passenger is removed from the permit, the action is irreversible, and the seat is surrendered back to the Forest Department’s system.

7. How to Request a Cancellation

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Verbal cancellations over a phone call will not be accepted. Please send your formal cancellation request along with your booking reference details to:

  • Email: info.bookingranthamboresafari@gmail.com
  • WhatsApp: +91-9251252572

8. Refund Processing Time

If your cancellation request is eligible for a refund according to the official slabs mentioned in Section 3, the approved refund amount will be credited back to your original method of payment within 7 to 14 business days.
